Questions people actually ask
What happens if I stop paying?
Backup pauses. Nothing is deleted, and the app keeps working on your phone exactly as before — it simply stops sending an encrypted copy to us. You can download everything you have with us at any time, subscription or not. Losing the ability to pay must never mean losing the record.
If a payment fails, am I locked out immediately?
No. A failed renewal opens a grace period, and backup keeps working through it. UPI mandates fail for ordinary reasons; that should not cost anyone their records the same hour.
Why is there no paid plan for one person that is cheaper?
Individual is deliberately the worst value per head. A household of three is better off on Encryptor than on three Individuals, and we would rather say so than hide it.
Can I pay by UPI?
Yes — UPI, cards and net banking, through Razorpay. Recurring payments use UPI AutoPay, which you can cancel from your own banking app at any time.
Do you need my medical records to bill me?
No, and we could not read them if we had them. Billing knows an email address and a plan. That is the entire overlap between paying us and your health.
