Terms of use

Last updated: ⚠ TO FILL: date

1. What Prescryption is

Prescryption is a record-keeping tool. It stores what you enter and shows it back to you. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Where Prescryption compares a value to a reference range, that is arithmetic against a number you supplied — not a clinical finding. Always rely on your doctor and on the report the laboratory issued.

2. Your records are yours

You own what you enter. We claim no rights over it, do not analyse it, do not sell it, and could not read it if asked — it is encrypted with a key we never receive.

3. What we cannot do for you

Because we hold no key, we cannot recover your records if you forget your PIN and lose both recovery codes. This is a deliberate design decision and applies on every plan. See Security.

4. Entering someone else's records

You may keep records for people you care for. You are responsible for having their consent where they are able to give it. For a child, the parent or guardian holds the record; at 18 the app offers to hand it over to them.

5. Payment

Subscriptions are billed in Indian Rupees through Razorpay. See Pricing and Refunds. If a payment fails, a grace period applies before backup pauses; the app continues to work on your device regardless.

6. Ending the service

If we ever have to stop operating, we will give at least ⚠ TO FILL: notice period, e.g. 90 days notice so you can download your records. The app's local storage and export do not depend on us being here.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in ⚠ TO FILL: city, e.g. Imphal, Manipur .

Draft. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Do not take payments against them until they have been.
